Why this step works:

When you’re considering making some changes to your diet or lifestyle, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed and not know where to start. Overwhelm often leads to inaction and then feeling like you’ve failed, and that’s not helpful to anyone. When I’m helping clients to make positive changes, we start with the smallest, most significant changes that will make the biggest difference.  And that’s my aim with Little Steps too.  Just as the ripple effects from a single drop of water are far-reaching, so too are the potential benefits of changing one small thing.  


But how do I decide which steps to choose?

So the potential benefits of making small changes are vast, but getting started isn’t always easy, especially if you’re not sure which steps to choose.  Know this. There are no right and wrong choices, and you don't need to start at the beginning and work your way through them systematically. This is your journey and the best route is to pick out steps that feel right for you.  If you’re feeling at all stuck, my advice would be to have a read through some of the little steps so far and look for the multiplier – by this I mean choose the smallest step that’s going to have the biggest impact in your life when you do it repeatedly.  And this will, of course, be different for everyone.  For example, if you're always rushing around and eating on the run, have another look at Little Step no 2 as this will deliver multiple benefits for you.
